Cristiano Ronaldo has given Real Madrid an ultimatum, under which he will remain at the club beyond this summer.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Portugal captain has demanded they pay the €14.7 million tax bill he’s being accused of owing, if they want him to stay.
Ronaldo sent shockwaves across the football world on Friday, when it emerged he was unhappy in Spain and could seek to leave.
The 32-year-old has a €1bn release clause, but clubs willing to buy him are expected to have to pay over €200m to land the player this summer.
The former Manchester United star, is believed to fancy a return to Old Trafford, if he eventually leaves Spain.
