Highlife legend, Bright Chimeze and Flavour Na’bania (a.k.a) Flavour have crowned Chibest David, as the new king of highlife music during the grand finale of the musical competition tagged: Hi-Life Fest. According to the organisers of the competition, Life Continental Lager Beer, the event was aimed at reviving, celebrating and promoting highlife music in Nigeria’s South East, at the event showcased various displays of talents among young Nigerians.
The grand finale, held last Sunday at Sonia Resort, 98 Ezeweka Road Awada, Onitsha, Anambra State was witnessed by a-list, as well as up-and-coming artistes.
Senior Brand Manager Regional Mainstream Brands, NB Plc., Funso Ayeni, commended the winner and charged him to sway on his new platform, while he urged other not to resist in following their careers. He also noted that the company was delighted to raise stars though its recourses in order to discover talents and create more opportunities for the youths.
